As blessing is the timely hand That stays calamity, Or keeps us calm and sensible When there is tragedy. It is each rung we reach upon Our ladder to success, And everything along our way That brings us happiness. A blessing is our loving spouse, The baby in our arms, And life itself upon this earth With all its dreams and charms.
