As I was going down life's highway, I saw a crossroads up ahead of me.
Which way was I to go? I looked down each road as far as I could see.
This was the road of life; one full of glory, yet, full of strife.
The other one was full of fun. for the time, but not the road of true life.
This was the crossroads of great division. Look closely at the way you choose to go.
One is the road to heartbreak. Satan will tempt you. But, Jesus will let you know
The way to the road of true life is through He, who died for us that long ago day.
In His goodness and mercy, He will forever show us the blessed way.
Whereas, this road to temptation is wide and easy, many go therein,
When the other is hard to travel and few make it, as they trust in sin.
But, God will help you find the right road to take. Put your soul in His care.
When this life on earth is over, this same Jesus will meet you there.
He loved us enough to die for us. He took your place and mine on a hill, that day.
So, why not take the road that leads to Jesus. He'll easily show you the way.
Just tell Him you're sorry and repent, that you believe. He'll accept you as you are.
Don't take the road to destruction. The road to our Jesus is best by far.
He was sin for us that day, as He hung there on that old cross, without a word,
In His own behalf; because this was what He came to do for us, sweetest story I ever heard.
Once, He led me to the altar. That's where I truly learned of His love.
I want to live in a mansion, built with His true love; there, in Heaven above.
